Hi, thanks for stopping by! I'm originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and I've spent most of my life in the southeast. We used to vacation in Florida when I was a child, so I came to love the beautiful waters of the Gulf. As an adult, I have lived in Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, South Carolina & Florida. I'm now blessed to live near the Atlantic Ocean, the beach, the marsh & intracoastal waterways and enjoy the beautiful wildlife here.
My mom was an accomplished artist & amateur photographer. I've loved taking pictures since my grandmother bought me a Brownie Hawkeye camera when I was in elementary school. I returned to Atlanta after college to worked in TV news & production. That's where I met my husband. We were married on a beach at sunrise....but I digress...
Because our children played several sports, my first business was kids sports photography. After we moved to Jacksonville in I began teaching film photography & then digital for a total of seven years at a private school.
I decided to leave the school room and take the leap into full time professional photography. Getting a 35mm digital camera has renewed my passion for imaging and its now unlimited possibilities!
I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for colorful, graphic images & the magic of Photoshop by teaching privately or to small classes in "Digital Photography" & "Photoshop Elements". Last summer I ran a digital Photocamp for kids--that kept me on my toes!
I really love going to new places, experiencing new things & of course, taking pictures of those new sights. My portrait was taken at Lake Orta, in northern Italy at a great photography workshop hosted by Drake Buseth.

I really enjoyed my trip to Portugal with Charles Gruppe and his group of artists.
I constantly seek to improve my skills by actively participating in photography, Photoshop & art workshops and organizations. I love to explore new avenues of expression by incorporating other media with my digital captures. Currently I am experimenting with adding pastels to my Artistic Images.
Well, now you know everything... Pamela
